I fell in love with these kind of farms in the US, especially during autumn there are so many beautiful farms you can pick your own fruits and veggies. Pumpkin season was my favourite...
Ronaldo discovered the Parkside Farm on his way home a few weeks ago. We have been planning on going and checking it out for a while now. I was impressed by how well maintained the whole farm is. Signs everywhere, nicely organised crops, well maintained paths, watering system.
I was only disappointed to see what the visitors do... How small respect they had for the place. It was quite sad to see people having picnic right under the sign: NO PICNIC please, leaving rubbish after themselves, picking and eating the fruits straight away next to clearly visible signs asking for the public not to eat on the farm... I really wish we would all be a bit more mindful.

Még Amerikában szerettem bele ezekbe a farmokba, különösen õsszel nagyon hangulatosak, mindenhol tökök meg falevelek...
Ronaldo pár hete fedezte fel ezt a farmot itt a közelünkben. Már terveztük egy ideje, hogy megnézzük. Nagyon színvonalas, igényes a hely. Egyértelmūen kitáblázott útvonalak, rendezett sorok, szuper kis öntözõrendszer...
Az egyetlen kiábrándulás a látogatók voltak. Hihetetlen micsoda szemetet hagynak maguk után egyesek, ott piknikeznek a tábla alatt ami világosan kér mindenkit, hogy ne piknikezzenek, eszik a frissen szedett gyümölcsöt, hiába a sok jelzés, hogy ne tegyeék... Bárcsak kicsit figyelmesebbek lennénk mindannyian, és tiszteletben tartanánk mások munkáját.
We went for strawberries, but couldn't resist the fresh spinach either... And actually every season they grow something different, you can check the CROP CALENDAR here.

Epret szedni mentünk, de nem tudtunk ellenálni a spenótnak sem. Minden szezonban más-más gyümölcsöt és zöldséget lehet szedni, a honlapjukon fent van a naptár.
Már alig várom a kukorica szezont, megyünk majd ismét erre a farmra.
We picked so many strawberries, that Mom even made a lot of jam. They have a little shop in the farm as you leave, that is where we bought for example the sugar for the jam. Convenient!

Annyi epret szedtünk, hogy anya még lekvárt is fõzött be. A farmon a kijáratnál van egy kis bolt, mi ott vettük például a cukrot is a befõzéshez. Mindent egy helyen!
