Foz do Iguaçu

So finally I have time to write the post about this beautiful place on Earth. I already miss Brasil and half of our family, even though it has only been a month since we are back to London. Being there is what I call total relaxation, it really charged all of my batteries. There is no stress, no hurry, everyone is happy, enjoying life. I can not wait for the next time to go!

This time we did a few trips, spent some time on the beach, and also drove all the way to the argentin border. That's where the Iguaçu Falls or Cataratas are located. The waterfalls of the Iguazu River consist of approximately 257 individual falls over 2.7 km. It was chosen as one of the "New Natural Seven Wonders of the World." No wonder why, the place is amazing! For me it is the real Brazil, the environment, humidity, rainforest, birds. So wonderful!

Végre van idõm megírni a bejegyzést errõl a varázslatos helyrõl. Még csak 1 hónapja, hogy visszaértünk Londonba, de már most hiányzik Brazília és a családunk fele. Ott lenni igazi kikapcsolódás, pihenés, feltöltõdés. Semmi stressz, mindenki boldog és élvezi az életet. Alig várom, hogy megint ott legyünk!

Sok helyen voltunk ez alkalommal, többek között levezettünk az argentín határhoz.

Az Iguaçu Vízesés Argentína és Brazília határában található, kb. 257 kisebb vízesésbõl áll össze több, mint 2.7 km hosszan. Nem meglepõ, hogy a Világ 7 csodája közé tartozik, hiszen gyönyörū hely! Számomra a "tipikus Brazília": gyönyörū esõerdõ, pára, hõség, trópusi madarak és növények...

Então, finalmente tenho tempo para escrever o post sobre este lindo lugar. Eu já estou com saudades do Brasil e da metade da nossa família, mesmo que tenha passado apenas um mês desde que voltamos à Londres. Estar lá é o que eu chamo de "relaxamento total", recarreguei todas as minhas baterias. Nada de stress, sem pressa, todo mundo feliz, curtindo a vida. Mal posso esperar pela próxima vez para ir! Comemos muito, passamos algum tempo na praia, e também fizemos uma deliciosa viajem de carro até Foz do Iguaçu, onde ficam as fronteiras com a Argentina e Paraguai. É na fronteira destes 3 países que fica localizada a Cataratas do Iguaçu. As cachoeiras do rio Iguaçu consiste de aproximadamente 257 quedas e mais de 2,7 km de extensão. Ela foi escolhida como uma das "Noval Sete Maravilhas Naturais do Mundo". O que não é surpresa uma vez que você visita o lugar, é incrível! Para mim é o Brasil real, o ambiente, umidade, floresta, pássaros. Tudo tão maravilhoso!

On the Brazilian side, there is a walkway along the canyon with an extension to the lower base of Devil's Throat, which is a long and narrow chasm, approximately half of the river's flow falls into here. So you basically walk right into the middle of the Falls where the mist and humidity is unbelievable. We got soaking wet and it actully felt really good to cool down a bit in that 30something °C.

A brazil oldalon egy kiépített útvonal vezet a vízesés közepébe, egy hosszú, keskeny szakadékba melyet nem véletlenül hívnak az 'Ördög torká"-nak. A pára és a köd valami hihetetlen itt a vízzuhatag ereje miatt. Csurom vizesek lettünk ami nem is esett annyira rosszul a 30valahány Celsius fokban.

Do lado brasileiro, há uma passarela ao longo do cânion com uma extensão para a base inferior da Garganta do Diabo, que é uma longa e estreita fenda, cerca de metade do fluxo do rio cai aqui. Então você fica, basicamente, dentro da queda, onde a névoa e a umidade são inacreditáveis. Nós ficamos todos molhados mas foi muito bom para resfriar um pouco e ajudar a sobreviver aos 30 e poucos graus celsius.

The Parque das Aves, one of the largest bird parks in Latin America, is located near the National Park of Iguaçu.

O Parque das Aves, um dos maiores parques de aves na América Latina, está localizado perto do Parque Nacional do Iguaçu.

It is such an amazing experience to walk amongst these beautiful tropical birds and flowers, parrots, flamingos, tucanos, butterflies, banana trees... Sooo tropical :)

In the middle of the park there is a resting area, they serve drinks, you can have a snack and relax in the cozy hanging chairs, listening to the birds in the rainforest. Amazing, amazing experience! NK

Fantasztikus élmény ezek között a trópusi madarak és növények között sétálni, papagájok, flamingók, tukánok, pillangók, banán és pálmafák... Igazán trópusi :)

A park közepén kialakított pihenõben hideg italokat, harapnivalókat szolgálnak fel. Függõ székekben élvezhettük az esõerdõ hangulatát, madarak csipogását. NK

É uma experiência incrível caminhar entre essas belas aves e flores tropicais. Papagaios, flamingos, tucanos, borboletas, bananeiras e muitos mais. Super Tropical! :) No meio do parque há uma área de descanso, onde você acha bebidas, lanches e maravilhosas cadeiras para descansar as pernas e relaxar ouvindo os pássaros na floresta. Incrível, incrível experiência! NK
